Things You Need to Know About SEO

SEOA lot of times, when people think about marketing their business or are trying to learn about SEO, it can be mind-boggling. But, there are some specific things you need to know about SEO, if you plan on hiring an SEO expert or just want to grow your business online.

There is No Guarantee in SEO

No matter how hard you might work at it, building back links, creating blog posts, or creating great content, your work cannot guarantee you the number one spot on Google. The reason is because there are so many different factors that take part in SEO. If you find a company that guarantees you the number one spot in 30 days, well run. They are not being truthful and providing you with broken promises. A lot of time these companies will get you in some type of contract and continue to debit your account with out providing their guarantee.

Usually with Local SEO, we can get you ranked on the first page of Search Engines for a couple of keywords within 90 days, but there is no guarantee in that. We will do everything in our power to make that happen, though.

SEO is Not Hard, but it is Time-Consuming

A lot of times people think SEO is very complicated and hard to master. It does take some time to learn everything there is to know about SEO, and SEO does change on a daily basis.  When it comes to the process of SEO, it is a lot of work. There are a lot of different things that need to be done, on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Most times, with business owners, they don’t have that extra time to spend doing all of the SEO work. They are too busy keeping their business going, that is why it is important to hire an SEO expert. You can continue doing what you need to, and we can do what we specialize in for you. It’s a win-win situation.

SEO is Not a One Time Necessity

Oftentimes people think that once you have achieved your goal and have a great ranking, you can be done with SEO. SEO is like the dishes, it is something that you have to do on a regular basis, even if you get every dish in the house done, there will be more to do tomorrow. SEO is something you have to continue to invest in, regardless of how good your ranking is. You need to work to stay there.

Awesome SEO Can’t Make up for a Not so Awesome Product

No matter how good your page ranking is, it is still up to you to make the sale. SEO will get your website noticed, will create more leads for you, and get higher traffic, but after that, it is up to you to provide the customer service and ultimately get that sale. Make sure you are not giving your customers broken promises, be honest and make them aware of what you have and will provide.

Do you have any tips for new business owners? Or people who are new to the SEO marketing world?
